Position Overview
ICS is hiring a seasoned clinical trial nurse to serve as the Director of Nursing, Clinical Trials & Real-World Delivery. This role oversees the full strategic planning and operational execution of the ICS nursing platform.
The position spans both distributed clinical trials (Phase I–III DCT) and post-market real-world evidence (RWE) care pathways, leading a team of nurses across virtual, home-based, and onsite settings to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
A. Nursing Organization & Quality System Management
· Build and lead the ICS nursing team across clinic, home visit, and virtual care settings
· Establish nursing quality standards and SOP systems referencing ISO 9001, CAN/CSA-Z8000, etc.
· Organize adverse event (AE) monitoring, root cause analysis, and corrective action loops
· Implement nurse education and internal re-certification programs
B. Clinical Trial Nursing Support (Phase I–III DCT)
· Interpret trial protocols and develop execution plans for nursing staff
· Manage consent procedures, visit scheduling, AE reporting, and adherence
· Liaise with CROs, sponsors, and CRAs to ensure nursing data and eSource compliance
· Supervise nurses performing sampling, vital monitoring, and visit documentation
C. RWE Pathway Execution
· Coordinate nursing tasks based on treatment pathways (TheraPath), including POCT, symptom tracking, and education
· Guide nurses in CDx sampling, biomarker collection, and remote monitoring
· Ensure high-quality data capture to support personalized efficacy modeling
· Contribute to care pathway optimization with actionable nursing insights
D. Digital Platform Collaboration & Workflow Design
· Work with clinical strategy and IT teams to optimize integrations with AlayaCare, FHIR, LIMS, EHR, etc.
· Co-develop task routing logic and automated nursing data workflows
· Drive interdepartmental collaboration and build ICS-wide remote care infrastructure
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (BN/MN)
· Registered Nurse (RN) license in Canada
· Minimum 5 years of nursing management experience, including 2+ years in clinical trials and remote care
· GCP certification required; ACRP/CCRP/CCRC certifications preferred
· Knowledge of Health Canada regulations, ICH-GCP, PIPEDA
· Proficiency in AlayaCare, EMR, eConsent, REDCap, LIMS, etc.
· Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
· Bilingual in English and French required if operating in Québec
Compensation
· Annual Estimate: $107,250 – $135,000 CAD (depending on experience and qualifications)
