Position Summary:

KPrime Technologies is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Integrated Logistics to lead our national logistics operations. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain and inventory management, staffing and scheduling of warehouse operations, dispatch coordination, and logistics-related IT implementation across 82 service sites nationwide. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, regular reporting against corporate metrics, and timely field support across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Lead day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations across all locations.
  • Optimize scheduling and resource allocation to meet service demands.
  • Develop and implement scalable logistics strategies aligned with business best practices and corporate objectives.
  • Coordinate with regional warehouse managers to standardize processes and drive efficiencies.

Contract Management:

  • Oversee logistics-related contracts with third-party suppliers and service providers.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met, including service levels, performance metrics, and compliance.
  • Negotiate and manage service agreements, renewals, and supplier evaluations.

Inventory Management:

  • Implement best practices in inventory control, replenishment, and asset tracking.
  • Maintain, advise and promote optimal stock levels across distributed warehouses.
  • Integrate ERP and digital tools to improve visibility, forecasting, compliance, and reporting.

Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to schedule and track maintenance activities.
  • Ensure inventory availability and timely dispatch of parts for field repairs, to meet service levels and contractual performance targets.
  • Monitor asset lifecycle and replacement schedules in alignment with maintenance plans.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as the central logistics point-of-contact for internal departments, including Field Operations, Accounting, Finance, Procurement, and IT.
  • Provide timely updates to executive leadership on logistics KPIs and challenges.
  • Foster transparent, productive relationships with field technicians and regional dispatch teams.

Problem-Solving in a Fast-Paced Environment:

  • Respond rapidly to unplanned disruptions in the supply chain, warehouse, dispatching, or field support.
  • Analyze root causes and implement short and long-term corrective actions.
  • Prioritize and execute logistics solutions that maintain continuity of service operations.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws governing warehousing, transportation, and hazardous materials (if applicable).
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in alignment with industry standards and audit requirements.

Quality Assurance / Quality Control Process Management:

  • Develop and implement QA/QC protocols for warehouse handling, packaging, and field dispatch operations.
  • Monitor performance metrics and audit logistics workflows for continuous improvement.
  • Establish corrective action frameworks to mitigate recurring issues and other business process improvement opportunities.

IT Implementation and Collaboration:

  • Partner with IT teams to lead the implementation of logistics technologies, including:
    • ERP systems (e.g., inventory modules, supply chain tools)
    • Microsoft Dynamics Field Services
    • Power BI for logistics reporting and dashboard development
  • Train warehouse and dispatch staff on new digital tools and platforms.
  • Drive the adoption of analytics-based decision-making across logistics functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive logistics experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site operations in a service-based or field-support industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics, and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, complex environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Six Sigma, PMP, PRINCE 2, or APICS certification.
  • Experience implementing and leading logistics process improvements across distributed teams.
  • Background in supporting technical field services or maintenance teams.
  • French is an asset.
