North America Construction (1993) Ltd. (NAC) is currently seeking a Director of Information Technology to join our team on a part-time basis with a flexible schedule. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT leader seeking work-life balance while continuing to make a significant impact.
This role is critical to NAC’s growth and success. The Director of IT will oversee the strategic direction, planning, and execution of all IT initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will lead a talented IT team, champion automation and modernization efforts, and ensure that NAC’s technology infrastructure supports its business operations and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for the IT department, including team management, resource planning, and professional development.
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical IT plans aligned with corporate goals.
- Oversee IT operations and ensure the performance of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to enhance efficiency, data security, and business continuity.
- Manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business priorities.
- Act as a liaison between IT, executive leadership, and operational teams to ensure alignment and communication.
- Support and maintain core business applications, driving automation and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably as Director or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing IT projects.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
