JOB TITLE:Director of In-Park Revenue Operations
REPORTS TO:General Manager
DEPARTMENT:Revenue
JOB SUMMARY:The Director of In-Park Revenue Operations is responsible for overseeing the direction, efficiency, and performance of all in-park revenue-generating departments, including Food & Beverage, Catering, Retail, Rentals, and Warehouse operations. This position also manages relationships and operations for all in-park third-party vendors such as games, arcades, and contracted food and beverage operators.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish goals and objectives for all revenue departments and monitor progress to ensure attainment.
- Research, analyze, and implement best practices across all operational areas.
- Develop, review and maintain departmental budgets in coordination with Department Managers, Finance, and the General Manager.
- Assist and advise management on the training and development of seasonal team members to ensure optimal guest experience in quality, service, and efficiency.
- Ensure the cleanliness of all Revenue locations and assist in general park presentation and cleanliness.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels to optimize guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Develop menu items and concepts to achieve budgeted goals.
- Ensure the safety of all team members and guests by creating and implementing department safety initiatives.
- Cooperate in a professional manner with all other department managers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Participate in the Duty Manager program as assigned.
- Be a proactive member of the management team.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends, as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum of five (5) years Revenue Management experience; water park, theme park, or similar attraction experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related discipline preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals through motivation, delegation, and effective systems management.
- Strong organizational, budget, and guest service skills.
- Excellent motivational, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Must have or be capable of acquiring a current ServSafe Food Handlers Safety Certification.
- Proficiency of Microsoft office applications preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety awareness and practices.
- Communicate and interact effectively and appropriately with all guests, co-workers, and management.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and present solutions for a variety of operational challenges.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- General math skills including but not limited to basic algebra, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and the ability to read measurements.
