Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Director of HR - Fintech - this is a fully remote role for EST to CET timezones candidates.

As we scale the business, we are looking for an experienced Director of Recruiting to join us through this next phase of growth. Our company is globally distributed, offering the opportunity to collaborate with co-workers across the world. This role requires the availability to work and attend meetings during Eastern Time zone (North America) business hours.

We're looking for a Director of HR to lead and scale our people function from the ground up. You'll be the architect of our people strategy-owning everything from organizational design and performance to compensation, culture, and compliance. This role isn't about keeping the company running - it is about building a thriving, high-performance team that can take on the challenge of fixing cross-border payments once and for all.

What you'll be doing :

Act like a founder. Partner closely with execs and team leads to shape people strategy that supports our mission and scales with our ambition. You will identify opportunities for improvement, and own implementation of those initiatives.

Own the full-stack HR function. Build the strategy, the team, the tools, and the rituals. If it touches HR, it's yours.

Champion culture and engagement. Keep our team aligned, inspired, and connected-even as we scale quickly and span time zones. Conduit is not just a place to collect a paycheck, we strive to build an environment where people will do the best work of their lives.

Handle the hard conversations. From employee relations to policy development, you'll ensure we operate with integrity, clarity, and humanity.

Proven track record. You have 7+ years of HR leadership experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments; startup DNA is non-negotiable!

A builder at heart. You've built HR programs and infrastructure from scratch, and know how to scale without bureaucracy.

People-first, performance-always. You balance empathy and accountability-building a culture that's kind, driven, and resilient.

Detail-obsessed and systems-savvy. From compliance to comp reviews, you sweat the small stuff so nothing slips through the cracks.
