Job description

Thompson Rivers University School of Nursing has the following sessional faculty positions available in the Health Care Assistant (HCA) program from May to July 2025.

The successful candidate(s) will teach theory and lab/practice courses within the HCA program and organize activities related to HCA, including, but not limited to, attending meetings, liaising with clinical agencies, developing student clinical assignments, and conducting evaluations.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Masters required; Masters in progress may be considered.
2. Undergraduate degree must be in nursing.
3. RN, LPN, BScN, and RPN applicants with applicable experience are encouraged to apply.
4. Practicing licence/membership with BCCNM required.
5. Teaching experience at the program level preferred.
6. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Long Term Care, in a nurse/client relationship.
