We're seeking a Director of Fire Protection Engineering to lead technical excellence and strategic initiatives in fire protection engineering. In this role, you will oversee complex projects, ensuring compliance with standards and fostering innovation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead and direct the technical aspects of fire protection engineering, emphasizing innovation and quality.
2. Develop strategic plans to enhance technical capabilities and market presence.
3. Provide expert guidance on complex projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices.
4. Collaborate with teams to optimize project delivery and integrate advanced methodologies.
5. Mentor team members to promote technical growth.
6. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
7. Maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and partners to support business growth.
8. Stay updated on technical trends and emerging technologies for innovation opportunities.
9. Demonstrate commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct in all activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related; advanced degree preferred.
2. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license or equivalent certification.
3. At least 10 years of experience in fire protection engineering with successful project delivery.
4. Expertise in fire modeling, performance-based design, and related methodologies.
5. Strong leadership and management skills to motivate technical teams.
6. Strategic thinker with ability to develop and execute technical plans.
7. Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
8. Proficiency in relevant software such as FDS, CFD, and analysis tools.
9. Willingness to travel as needed for project support and business development.

The salary range is $160,000 - $200,000 CAD, with performance bonuses and relocation allowances. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
