Be at the forefront of reshaping the future of healthcare technology.

Our client, a publicly traded high-growth medical technology innovator, is searching for a strategic, high-impact Director of Finance to join their mission to transform chronic care through AI-powered solutions. With triple-digit growth over the past three years and now generating free cash flow, this is not just a job—it's a launchpad for the next big chapter in your career.

This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a rising finance function, help shape the roadmap to profitability, and work alongside a visionary CFO in a company poised for global scale.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Industry Leadership : Operating in one of the fastest-growing sectors in healthtech, our client is solving problems that truly matter.
  • Global Momentum : With a public listing, triple-digit revenue growth, and multiple new products in the market, you'll join at a pivotal stage where your work will directly influence outcomes on a global scale.
  • Mentorship Meets Mastery : You'll be mentored directly by a seasoned CFO with public company experience, while also having the freedom to shape and lead core strategic finance functions.
  • Technology Meets Purpose : Combining cutting-edge SaaS with regulated MedTech innovation, this role blends impact, complexity, and innovation.
  • Remote-First, Canada-Preferred : Collaborate with a forward-thinking finance team based primarily in Toronto, enjoying full flexibility and autonomy.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes with precision, ensuring accuracy in reconciliations, financial notes, disclosures, and MD&A preparation.
  • Deliver insightful, story-driven financial reporting, variance analysis, and KPIs (e.g., MRR, churn, customer metrics) to influence key decisions.
  • Oversee accounting operations, including revenue recognition (SaaS, hardware), AP accruals, inventory, and equity accounting in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Build and evolve scalable processes, from automation to system implementation, laying the foundation for future growth.
  • Develop dynamic forecast and scenario models that support strategic decision-making and investor confidence.
  • Manage external contractors and vendors, ensuring high-quality output with minimal friction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, R&D, and executive leadership to drive enterprise-wide alignment.

Who You Are :

  • A CPA-designated finance leader with at least 4 years of progressive experience, including public audit or full-cycle accounting in complex environments.
  • Experienced in US GAAP, with exposure to public company reporting preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel modeling and financial storytelling; comfortable handling forecasts, board reports, and investor narratives.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics: MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, and their impact on business value.
  • Familiar with NetSuite (QuickBooks a plus).
  • Comfortable working remotely, independently, and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, agile team.
  • Passionate about building, optimizing, and evolving processes; proactive in creating long-term solutions.
  • Background in healthcare, SaaS, or tech industries is a strong asset.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and energized by complexity, deadlines, and growth.

What's In It For You :

  • Mentorship from a seasoned CFO with deep public company and tech experience.
  • High visibility and influence over company trajectory.
  • Competitive compensation package with equity upside.
  • Remote flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • An opportunity to build something meaningful in a company revolutionizing care for millions.
