A leading family-run manufacturer seeks a Director of Finance to manage financial reporting, treasury, and cost accounting. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a proactive, strategic mindset. Ideal candidates should be CPA-qualified with extensive experience in a manufacturing environment.

Reporting directly to the Vice President, the Director of Finance will be responsible for all financial reporting, internal controls, treasury management and cost accounting, as well as providing strategic finance and business advice to the owners. This position will also require significant leadership and change capacity, as the Director of Finance will have managerial responsibility over multiple direct reports and will be looked upon to provide cross functional leadership through business growth.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on strategic thinker with solid problem-solving skills and the ability to engage in strategic data interpretation vs. simple reporting. Results oriented, they will also be receptive to change with a continuous improvement mindset. Strong communication skills and practices, ensuring management and their team are kept in the loop and consulted as needed are also essential.
