Job description

Position Summary:

We’re seeking a Director of Finance and Administration who will ensure the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization. This is a leadership role that requires a proactive strategist who can implement systems, streamline operations, and build financial infrastructure to support our growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Strategic Finance:Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial dashboards. Lead monthly financial reporting and ensure audit readiness.
  • Operational Leadership:Build administrative systems and internal policies that increase clarity, consistency, and sustainability across teams.
  • HR Oversight:Manage payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, and internal HR practices with care and confidentiality.
  • Facilities & Vendor Management:Oversee facility-related contracts, asset tracking, and office operations.
  • Fund & Grant Management:Track funder commitments, oversee compliance, and coordinate grant reporting.
  • Organizational Systems:Drive improvements in cross-functional workflows, ensuring our back-end systems support our mission delivery.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 5+ years in finance leadership.
  • CPA designation or equivalent experience in accounting/financial oversight
  • Experience managing HR, payroll, and benefits systems
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, budgeting tools, and operational SOPs
  • Ability to think proactively and lead from both the strategic and operational levels
