We’re supporting a premium flexible workspace provider in their search for a Director of Accounting & Finance — a key executive hire who will lead financial strategy, team performance, and operational excellence across the business.

This fast-growing, design-forward company operates a portfolio of beautifully curated workspaces across Canada, with a strong footprint in Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, and Montreal. They pride themselves on boutique-level hospitality and a member-first culture.

Location : Toronto (Hybrid flexibility)

The Role

You'll be the financial right-hand to the executive leadership team, overseeing all aspects of financial management — including accounting, reporting, forecasting, compliance, capital planning, and strategic investment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the development and execution of financial strategy aligned with business objectives
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting (GAAP / IFRS compliance)
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team
• Establish strong internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support capital management, investment due diligence, and strategic initiatives

What We’re Looking For

6+ years’ experience in accounting / finance, including 3+ years in a leadership role

CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred

Strong command of GAAP / IFRS

Expertise in ERP and financial systems (bonus points for Yardi Voyager experience)

Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and leadership skills

Real estate or workspace industry experience is a plus
