Overview :

At I n-Common Laboratories (ICL), we are dedicated to transforming lives through innovative healthcare and community support services. As we grow and expand our impact, we are seeking a seasoned financial professional to join our leadership team as the Director of Finance. This is a critical role that will help shape our financial strategy and ensure operational excellence across the organization.

The Opportunity :

The Director of Finance will provide help financial leadership by ensuring the integrity of ICL’s financial systems, robust financial and analytical reporting, and financial planning. In close collaboration with the CFO, the ICL Director of IT, and the ICL Executive Team, the Director of Finance will support decision-making, long-term planning, and financial sustainability. The Director of Finance will oversee a dynamic Finance Team, drive compliance and risk mitigation, and champion the optimization of our Microsoft 365 Business Central accounting platform.

Key Areas of Responsibility :

• Provide financial stewardship and insight aligned with ICL’s mission.
• Support organizational growth, capital planning, and major strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate annual budgets, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes.
• Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting.
• Ensure robust internal controls, adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and all regulatory standards.
• Provide close liaison with the external auditors.
• Maximize the use of Microsoft 365 Business Central and related accounting applications.
• Identify and champion financial systems automation, integration, and data integrity improvements.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing Finance Team.
• Partner across all ICL Departments to provide financial insights, services, and tactical recommendations.

Qualifications :

Education & Certification :

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or Finance, Master of Business Administration preferred
• CPA or CMA Designation required.

Experience :

• 10 years of progressive accounting / finance experience, with 5+ years in a manager role.
• Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and system implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Business Central is an asset.
• Experience in healthcare and Not-for-Profit sectors is an asset.
• Leadership.
