We’re seeking a Director of Finance to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of our financial functions. As the Director of Finance, you’ll report to the Chief Financial Officer and oversee financial operations, treasury, audit, and partner reporting across the organization. You’ll lead the Finance Innovation and Transformation (FIT) initiative, modernizing processes and systems to strengthen our long-term sustainability. Your role will ensure financial integrity and compliance while mentoring the finance team and fostering a culture of servant leadership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
CPA designation required.
MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally in not-for-profit or public sector environments. Demonstrated expertise in treasury, audit, financial operations, and transformation initiatives.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Deep understanding of funding structures, covenant management, and compliance. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills. Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across all levels. Flexible, resilient, and aligned with Baptist Housing’s values.

We offer a competitive compensation package, with a starting salary range of $150,000 to $170,000 annually.
