Job description

The North Shore Disability Resource Centre (NSDRC) was established in 1976 to ensure people with disabilities could live comfortably in their communities. Based in North Vancouver, BC, NSDRC offers a wide range of community- and residence-based programs and services for individuals of all ages with any kind of disability. Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of Finance located in North Vancouver, BC. The Director of Finance will oversee financial planning, manage financial reporting and statements, and ensure the financial health of the organization. Day-to-day tasks include budgeting, financial forecasting, analyzing financial data, and preparing financial reports to guide decision-making. Some work from home is acceptable.

Qualifications

  • Financial Planning and Forecasting skills
  • Experience in managing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
  • Strong Analytical Skills and overall Finance knowledge
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Proficiency in finance-related software and tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA designation is a plus
  • Experience in non-profit sector is a plus
