You will shape the platform architecture, guide multiple product‑engineering teams, and partner with product, design, and research to deliver reliable, scalable systems that empower tax professionals.

You’ll coach senior engineers, navigate complex technical challenges, and drive the organization toward faster delivery with quality.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multiple software teams delivering customer-facing SaaS products.
• Demonstrated experience in system design and long-term platform evolution.
• Strong collaboration with product, design, and research to align strategy with customer value.
• Hands-on architectural decision-making and ability to explain complex designs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for platform capabilities emphasizing reliability, scalability, and speed of delivery.
• Lead platform engineers to design foundational systems and internal tools.
• Coach engineers into system-thinking leaders and guide architectural decisions.
• Ensure cross-team alignment and clear communication to stakeholders.
• Help teams ship frequently with high quality and strong testing practices.
