Job summary

Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) is seeking a Director of Development reporting to the Executive Director. You will design and drive a comprehensive fundraising strategy across Oil Country, focusing on the 'Every Kid Deserves a Shot' initiative and expanding donor relationships.

You will lead creative campaigns, build and manage a portfolio of prospects, collaborate with OEG teams on partnerships, and grow community impact through donor stewardship and events, with a strong emphasis

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years fundraising or revenue-generating experience.
5 years of senior leadership experience.
Experience in Sports Management an asset.

Responsibilities

Create and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy across Oil Country leveraging the EOCF and Oilers brand.
Develop campaigns (third party, membership, events) with plans, resources, and targets.
Develop donor prospecting, recognition and stewardship programs leveraging the brand.
Collaborate with OEG teams to identify CSR opportunities with corporate partners.
Grow donor and customer database and engage fans and ticket holders.
Manage fundraising administration and maintain donor portfolios.
Secure and maintain donor relationships to ensure conversion in fundraising cycles.
