Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Markham, Ontario, seeks a Director of Care (Permanent Full-Time) to lead a clinical team across multiple Long Term Care sites, guiding care programs and fostering strong relationships with residents and families.

You will report to the Manager, Clinical Compliance Excellence, oversee nursing staff, and drive regulatory compliance, falls prevention, skin/wound care, and restorative programs in a fast-paced, compassionate work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level nursing degree or equivalent post-diploma education.
• Gerontological Nurse Certification (GNC) is a plus.
• Current registration in good standing with the nursing college.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of clinical professionals to build relationships with residents and families.
• Ensure excellence in resident care and compliance with care plans.
• Lead, coach and engage nursing staff to deliver compassionate, resident-centred care.
• Collaborate on infection control and regulatory compliance within the care community.
