Director of Care/IPAC Manager - Full Time

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Director of Care/IPAC Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will provide leadership to the resident care team, oversee infection prevention and control practices, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the nursing team in providing person-centered care
  • Maintaining legislative compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Managing departmental finances, staffing, and resources
  • Monitoring quality improvement activities and care standards
  • Supervising infection prevention and control practices, including surveillance, outbreak management, and staff training

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse with current registration in Ontario
  • Current Non-Acute Care Infection Control Professional (NAC ICP) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in infection control and management
  • Strong knowledge of long-term care legislation and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
