About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director of Business Transformation to lead complex initiatives that drive organizational growth, scalability, and value creation. This role will be at the forefront of M&A integration, business transformation, and cross-functional change management, ensuring smooth alignment across teams, systems, and culture.
You’ll be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, guiding the organization through transformation and integration initiatives that position us for long-term success. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in M&A integration within SaaS or technology-driven environments, understands the challenges of scaling high-growth businesses, and excels at leading through change.
What You’ll Do
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Partner with ELT and functional leaders to evaluate, plan, and execute acquisitions from due diligence through integration.
- Lead integration planning and execution across people, systems, processes, customers, and culture.
- Develop and maintain integration playbooks, checklists, and dashboards for consistent, repeatable success.
- Track synergies, risks, and value creation metrics post-acquisition to measure outcomes and ensure accountability.
Business Transformation & Integration
- Drive enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and strategic alignment.
- Map and optimize end-to-end business processes across key functions (Sales, Services, Product, Finance, People & Culture).
- Champion change management and communication strategies to engage and align employees through transitions.
- Identify and mitigate risks that could impact growth, performance, or compliance.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a transformation leader and trusted advisor to the CEO and ELT on integration and change readiness.
- Lead cross-functional project teams with strong governance, accountability, and communication.
- Provide transparent progress updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to the ELT and Board.
- Build alignment across regions and functions, balancing global scale with local execution needs.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in business transformation, M&A integration, or management consulting.
- Proven success leading M&A integrations in SaaS, GovTech, or technology-enabled industries.
- Expertise in program management, process improvement, and change management.
- Deep understanding of scaling operations, systems, and processes in high-growth SaaS environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, SOX, AODA/ADA, OSHA, etc.) and cross-border workforce considerations (Canada/U.S.) is an asset.
