Who we need

We seek a Director of Business Development in Defined Benefits Pension Administration Solutions to grow our sales funnel within our Retirement & Benefits Solutions practice and help achieve sales targets.

You will generate new sales opportunities, develop strategies to maintain a strong pipeline, collaborate on lead generation, RFPs, and presentations, and network through industry events and contacts.

Who you are

You desire to work with an innovative team to generate growth. You have a strong understanding of employer benefits programs, especially in H&W, Defined Contribution, and Defined Benefits administration. Project management, trusted advisory relationships, and growth leadership are key skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a sales pipeline for Defined Benefits Pension Administration.
  2. Create tailored sales strategies for Canadian and US markets.
  3. Engage in client pursuits, RFPs, and presentations.
  4. Identify staffing and tools needs for sales success.
  5. Work with search consultants to position TELUS as a top provider.
  6. Achieve and adjust based on sales targets.
Requirements
  1. 7-10 years of strategic sales experience in Defined Benefits Pension Administration.
  2. Ability to build and nurture client relationships.
  3. Project management skills and multi-project handling.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Willingness to travel within Canada up to twice a year.
