Position Summary :

Responsible for day-to-day commercial management of AOR's customers and the business development / account management teams. With a focus on profitable sales growth with new and existing customers. Arrow's focus is increasing our content per project or platform across six commodities - structures, powertrain, attachments, wear components, cab and operator interface and hydraulics. Efforts will be guided by the execution of a well-developed customer sales strategy and a sustainable, scalable business development process that leverages Arrow's vertical capabilities and capacity.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Accountable for customer growth and retention, including the creation of focused sales initiatives leveraging the group's technologies and reputation across the targeted markets.
  • Expected to be the "voice of the customer" in all aspects of Arrow's business operations.
  • Refine and reinforce Arrow's brand image of strong technical, operational, and financial capabilities.
  • Creating further "reach" into the current customer operations, and identifying new customers within the targeted markets.
  • Gaining insights into the future direction and evolving needs within the current customer organizations and, proactively positioning the company to support those needs by helping to develop and implement new business development plans.
  • Leading a team of business development and account management professionals.
  • Pursuit of new opportunities in new market segments within the region.
  • Working with the customer and internal team to ensure that key customer performance metrics are achieved.
  • Managing and implementing pricing strategies that are competitive and achieve targeted profit margins.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction whether it relates to issues of cost, delivery, quality, and effective collaboration.
  • Performs other duties as necessary in support of company goals.
  • Comply with the requirements as outlined in the company handbook and government requirements.
  • Follows and comply with all Operational Procedures and policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (i.e. IATF, ISO 14001)

Educational Requirements :

  • Must possess a technical undergraduate degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Industry experience, machining, fabrication and assembly of metal components and assemblies for Off-Road applications.
  • A thorough knowledge of product development, machining, and steel fabrication processes.

Required Skills & Expertise :

  • Demonstrated ability in establishing strong relationships in a rapidly changing technical environment.
  • Proven ability to create and lead initiatives which improve current program performance and new market / opportunity development.
  • Successful experience in managing a team of technical account management personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a structured, scalable sales process including reporting.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • An ability to balance multiple priorities and allocate resources between them.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills at all levels in the organization. Superior listening skills and persuasive powers.
