THE TEAM

The mission of the People Practices & Compliance Department is to identify, consult, and mitigate people risks in the business through creative problem-solving, and development of proactive employment practices.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing, and our People Practices & Compliance team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for consulting on escalated people risks in the business. As the Director of Advisory, Concierge and Distribution Centres, you will support the team responsible for preventing people compliance risks and serve as the first point of escalation when required in Concierge and Distribution Centres workplaces. THE ROLE

As the Director of Advisory, Concierge and Distribution Centres, you will:

  1. Identify people risks, providing targeted recommendations on how to proactively mitigate risks
  2. Leverage experience and expert knowledge, industry trends, and Aritzia’s business to provide recommendations
  3. Develop and manage the people plan response for business decisions with people impacts
  4. Evaluate people issue requests and inquiries, evaluating the gravity of incidents
  5. Serve as a trusted advisor to the business to effectively navigate people issues with an appropriate response
  6. Serve as the first point of escalation for complex people issues and determine whether an investigation is warranted

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Director of Advisory, Concierge and Distribution Centres has:

  1. Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience in human resources practices & compliance
  2. A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
  3. The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
  4. The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
  5. A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value
  6. A deep understanding and commitment for the industry in which we operate

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $150,000–$225,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
