Job summary

Brookfield Renewable is seeking a Director of Accounting to lead and scale the accounting function for a growing multi-entity portfolio. The role requires building structure, establishing standards, and partnering with internal teams to deliver reliable financial information and strong controls.

You will own the accounting perspective, guide the transition from current to durable processes, and oversee SOX/ICFR readiness while coordinating with external providers and internal IT.

Qualifications

• Senior accounting leadership experience in multi-entity shared-services environments.
• Deep IFRS/US GAAP knowledge and close experience.
• Ability to standardize processes and drive transformation.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the Northview accounting function including governance, policies, and processes.
• Lead controllership, financial reporting, and audit readiness across multiple entities.
• Drive ERP readiness, data requirements, testing, cutover, and go-live for a future-state solution.
• Demonstrate ownership mindset and build a high-performance accounting team.
