Canadian Nuclear Laboratories Ltd. in Chalk River invites an experienced leader to oversee Nuclear Materials & Safeguards Management, ensuring compliant procurement, storage, accounting and IAEA safeguards with safety and regulatory alignment.

You will develop programs, manage 5–8 staff, and engage regulators and external partners to address complex challenges. This on-site role emphasizes governance, continuous improvement, training, and documentation, while coordinating with internal groups

Qualifikationen

• University or college graduation in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5–10 years of related experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills; supporting regulators and customers.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic oversight for NM&SM programs and regulatory compliance.
• Lead procurement, accounting, storage, and handling of nuclear materials.
• Manage training, documentation, and performance measures for the NM&SM Team.
• Represent CNL with regulators and external partners on NM&SM matters.
• Oversee contracts, interface with other groups, and drive continual improvement.
