The Director of AI Model Risk Management is a key risk governance advisor and cross-functional risk coordinator at Manulife, leading AI adoption initiatives. As part of the Group Model Risk Management (MRM) team, you will advise global stakeholders to ensure the safe, secure, and efficient integration of AI technologies/models. This role is vital for accelerating AI adoption, improving operational efficiency, and reducing compliance costs across the organization. You will collaborate with Model Risk Management teams to develop advanced AI governance frameworks and validation techniques, leveraging artificial intelligence. Reporting to the AVP, Model Risk Management, this position is based at the Toronto Head Office.
By establishing a responsible AI governance framework and coordinating risk assessments, you will ensure robust AI model risk management. Incorporating GenAI in governance and validation processes will help revolutionize MRM operations. This role directly impacts Manulife's ability to capitalize on AI opportunities, supporting strategic goals.
