This is a hybrid role based out of Toronto that reports directly to the Managing Director of CRM and Data Analytics. This opportunity is open only to Canadian citizens and authorized residents living in the Toronto area.

This person will oversee the development and advancement of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and analytics capabilities and solutions. They will leverage our data assets, lead the setup of frameworks, and drive the adoption of emerging technologies on both cloud and on-premises environments. They will understand data quality requirements and identify improvements to support AI/ML/Analytics.

This individual will also oversee the development of best practices and tooling to develop and operate solutions securely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities

• Typically, 10+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ideally 5 years of experience within Financial Services.

• Technical leadership recognized as a thought leader for innovation, proficient in ML and AI.

• Experience in leadership roles with proven success in building and maintaining teams.

• Experience defining and leading large-scale projects.

• Fosters a culture aligned with BMO’s purpose, values, and strategy, role modeling BMO values and behaviors.

• Ensures alignment with values and behaviors that promote diversity and inclusion.

• Connects work to BMO’s purpose, sets inspirational goals, defines clear outcomes, and ensures accountability.

• Builds collaborative, interdependent teams across functions to maximize stakeholder value.

• Attracts, retains, and develops top talent.

• Programming languages: R, Python, Scala, Sagemaker, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, among others.

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing machine learning models.

• Strong knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals and current trends, including libraries and tools.

• Experience building feature stores and auto ML capabilities.

• Relevant certifications in AWS / Azure.

• Experience building architectures on AWS, Azure, and on-premises.

• Provides expertise on banking industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform leadership decisions.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.

• Stays updated on emerging technologies, market trends, and regulatory changes affecting banking to provide proactive solutions.

• Experience with modern databases, cloud environments, and data ecosystems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong collaboration and team skills.

• Deep analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Influence skills at an in-depth level.

Salaire :

$113,900.00 - $211,800.00

This range and type of compensation represent what BMO Financial Group offers.

Salaries vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. They may include commissions. Salaries for part-time roles are prorated. For commission roles, the salary is the target for the first year.
