A leading gold producer, Alamos Gold, seeks a Director, Metallurgy based in Toronto. This role involves providing technical support for process optimization at mining sites in Canada and Mexico. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Technical Services, the Director, Metallurgy will support a range of improvement initiatives and operational challenges across projects and mine sites in Canada and Mexico.
Role Overview
The Director, Metallurgy will provide technical support to the process teams at existing mines and projects, focusing on carbon-in-leach and heap leach operations. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Vice President, Technical Services, and the operational teams at each site to develop and implement processing plans aligned with the company's vision. Additionally, you will support the Toronto-based Technical Services team with feasibility studies, technical report generation, and due diligence activities.
This position is based in Toronto, with regular travel to mine sites.
