The salary range is $116,591 to $167,600, with actual salary determined based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
Impact of the Role:
The Director leads the Medical Staff Workforce Strategy within the IH Medicine Portfolio, overseeing resource planning and impact analysis aligned with organizational policies and the Medical Staff Rules and Bylaws. Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to support workforce needs, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring effective resource utilization and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Medical Staff Workforce Strategy portfolios, including planning and support programs
• Lead strategic reporting and resource planning processes
• Develop strategies to improve recruitment, retention, and optimization of medical staff
• Collaborate with partners on workforce planning and compensation models
• Liaise with government and other organizations on workforce initiatives
• Budget management, monitoring, and reporting
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to staff
• Develop reports, business cases, and performance metrics
• Lead projects with careful resource and risk management
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Health Services Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 7-10 years of relevant healthcare or workforce experience
• Equivalent education and experience considered
