The Director, Marketing and Communications, Advanced Skills Centre, will report to the Associate Vice President, Marketing and Communications who also is part of the External Relations team.
This is as a highly strategic leadership position, driving innovative marketing and communications strategies for the comprehensive fundraising campaign for the Advanced Skills Centre (ASC) aligned with NAIT’s overarching brand and strategic direction, The NAIT Effect , our vision, promises and values.
The Director will be accountable for the success of marketing and communication strategies that serve as the cornerstone for donor engagement, campaign visibility, and philanthropic momentum to position the ASC and support NAIT’s multi-year comprehensive fundraising campaign. The role will provide continual direction around messaging that maximizes engagement and drives donations while supporting the achievement of key outcomes, directly tied to the goals for the ASC project and the campaign.
The Director will oversee a professional team who are responsible for operationalizing strategies that will engage, inform and inspire potential donors, supporters and the community. Working collaboratively to define goals, target audiences and key messaging through the development and execution of tactics with others on the Marketing and Communications team, executive, senior leaders across NAIT or other external vendors as required. The Director will work collaboratively with External Relations leadership to foster a culture of philanthropy across the portfolio and beyond, leveraging internal and external stakeholders and brand ambassadors.
This role will also participate in governance and leadership committee meetings for the ASC project and attend Board of Governor meetings when required.

Remuneration : $109,064.28 - $144,494.48 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
