We are looking for a Director, Marketing to continue to grow the belairdirect brand and market shares across Canada. This person will lead the short, mid- and long-term brand strategy, and will define and execute the game plan to grow brand awareness and consideration.

What You’ll Do Here
  1. Define and own the belairdirect brand vision: In collaboration with your team members, peers and partners, you will set and execute the long-term vision and strategy for belairdirect brand to attract Canadians' attention, drive consideration, action, and advocacy.
  2. Champion go-to-market strategies: Support your team and partners in translating the vision into an actionable roadmap and develop an integrated plan to launch new products, services, and offerings to Canadians and customers. Lead a team that delivers breakthrough strategies and campaigns, leveraging internal marketing experts and external partners, analyzing campaign performance, market & customer insights, and data sources to push our marketing strategy forward.
  3. Lead, coach, and support a high-performing and engaged team: Mentor and inspire a team of advertising, brand, social media, content, and creative experts. Help them develop leadership skills, champion marketing projects, and advocate for diversity and inclusion. Assist your team in identifying and focusing on high-value initiatives balancing innovation, market opportunities, and business needs.
  4. Collaborate with team members within Marketing and across the company: Work closely with Marketing peers and build strong relationships across the organization and with external partners to ensure a cohesive and impactful brand approach.
  5. Communicate to stakeholders across the organization: Build relationships with peers, internal partners, and executives. Communicate your roadmap, potential impacts of brand decisions, and work collaboratively to improve cross-funnel performance. Proactively address business challenges and stakeholder needs, recommending solutions and influencing decision-making.
What You Bring To The Table
  • Inclusive leader with experience managing and motivating diverse marketing teams and partners.
  • Strategic, goal-oriented, with a track record of developing high-performing marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Excellent communicator with strong emotional intelligence, able to connect with various target audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, growth mindset, and problem-solving skills using innovative strategies.
  • Open-minded and positive leadership style, responsible for successes and setbacks, energized by challenges and change.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, capable of balancing multiple viewpoints and coordinating multiple actors.
  • Passionate about customer experience and the impact of marketing on their journey with the brand.
What You Have
  • At least 15 years of experience in marketing strategy, growth marketing, and brand management.
  • At least 5 years managing marketing professionals, including managers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, administration, product management, design, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong data-driven and analytical curiosity within the marketing ecosystem.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is required for candidates in Quebec.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
