Reporting to the Vice-President and Head of Marketing, you will be a leader who shapes the marketing strategy for the Capital Formation and TSX Trust lines of business. Your success will be measured by your ability to build trusted partnerships, drive positive change, and deliver measurable business impact through innovative marketing initiatives.

As Director of Marketing for Capital Formation and TSX Trust, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth across our dynamic portfolio. Leading a talented team of marketing professionals, you'll partner closely with business unit leaders to translate complex market opportunities into compelling marketing initiatives. Your role is central to the success of these business units, where you'll serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. This position offers the unique opportunity to drive marketing strategies while leveraging your deep understanding of financial markets, ensuring our initiatives remain innovative and impactful.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategic Partnership & Trust Building

Develop and nurture strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders

Demonstrate exceptional listening skills and ability to read complex organizational dynamics

Build consensus across matrix organizational structures

Marketing Excellence & Innovation

Design data-driven marketing strategies that align with business growth objectives

Lead digital-first marketing campaigns while maintaining traditional channel effectiveness

Drive continuous improvement in marketing effectiveness through measurable metrics

Manage and optimize marketing budget allocation for maximum business impact

Foster an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning

Mentor and develop team members to achieve their highest potential

Balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution when needed

Create clear paths for team growth and development

Must haves:

Demonstrated track record of building trusted partnerships in complex financial organizations

10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 5+ years of people leadership

Deep understanding of capital markets, derivatives or equity trading markets

Proven success in digital marketing and measurement

Strong financial acumen and business partnership capabilities

Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence at all levels

Education:
