Reporting to the VP of Global Customer Marketing and Communications, you will help develop and implement the events strategy for AIS across the Americas.

We seek a self-motivated, solutions-oriented individual with a passion for branding, who can collaborate with marketing, product, sales, R&D, and design teams to align with business objectives.

The ideal candidate is experienced, bilingual, and skilled in complex, fast-paced environments. You should have a proven track record in developing and executing event strategies, multi-channel communication plans, and brand positioning.

You must demonstrate big-picture thinking and operational leadership, with professionalism to work closely with senior leadership and understand their priorities. Strong writing skills, strategic communication understanding, and a desire for a multifaceted role are essential. You should be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic, ready to contribute meaningfully.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a long-term event strategy for the Americas.
  • Lead planning and execution of events, managing logistics, budgets, and engagement.
  • Organize external events like tradeshows, roadshows, and partner conferences.
  • Ensure events are integrated into marketing campaigns.
  • Create communication and marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Leverage publications, social media, and online advertising for event promotion.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams on sales and digital materials.
  • Set targets and KPIs to evaluate success.
  • Monitor project pipelines, budgets, and implement improvements.
  • Manage suppliers and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Supervise and evaluate the communications team in the Americas.
  • Foster a productive environment for team growth.
  • Stay updated on event management trends and innovate accordingly.

Skills and Minimum Experience

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in event project management.
  • Experience with 360 marketing strategies is a plus.
  • Experience in B2B marketing for various company sizes.
  • Experience with technically complex products is an asset.
  • Bilingual in French and English to serve clients in Canada and the USA.
