CPP Investments | Investissements RPC is seeking a Director, Data Engineering for the PMAA team to build and publish enterprise market data products that power investment strategies. Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in data engineering, data platforms or software engineering; 5+ years leading engineering teams; enterprise-scale, cloud-native data platforms.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, investment management and market data; licensing and entitlements experience is a plus.
• Advanced AWS architecture expertise (Security, IAM, networking, cost optimization) with hands-on Spark, Glue/EMR, Airflow, DMS, RDS/Aurora.
• Expertise in data product design, governance, data contracts, service levels; RDF/knowledge graphs, MCP servers, AI-assisted analytics.
• Ability to guide teams across cloud-native dev, data quality, observability and delivery; experience with lakehouse technologies; CI/CD and IaC.
• Inclusive leadership, strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor partnership skills.

Aufgaben

• Define and execute multi-year data engineering strategy and PMAA data product roadmap.
• Own target AWS data platform architecture across ingestion, storage, processing, governance, and consumption.
• Lead development of enterprise data products (pricing, reference data, corporate actions, benchmarks) with clear data contracts and SLAs.
• Establish semantic data capabilities (RDF graphs) and enable governed AI-ready access via MCP servers and Amazon Quick.
• Ensure reliable data delivery with observability, quality controls, incident management, and license/entitlement controls.
• Lead agile delivery, CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, and collaboration with investment, product, architecture, and governance partners.
• Build, coach, and develop an inclusive high-performing engineering team.
