This is not a role removed from the operation. You will lead from the floor and through your leadership team, with dock-to-dock ownership spanning receiving and material flow, production, and shipping. You will own results across safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity, while building a culture of daily management and continuous improvement through VES.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Coach site and operations leaders to achieve SQDIP targets through clear standards, operating reviews, and accountability.

  • Drive operational excellence across manufacturing through consistent metrics, standard work, and leadership routines.

  • Drive daily and visual management, Lean conversion, and sustained improvement through VES fundamentals.

  • Own manufacturing budgets, labour productivity, cost, on-time delivery, lead time, inventory, and working-capital performance.

  • Lead dock-to-dock material flow, including receiving, stores, kitting, line-side replenishment, finished goods, and shipping.

  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, Planning, and Project Execution to improve lines, build quality at the source, strengthen safety, and deliver customer commitments.

  • Build organizational capability through succession planning, coaching, performance management, associate development, and strong front-line and site leadership

The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations.

  • At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations.

  • At least 5 years of experience leading other leaders, ideally within a multi-site manufacturing environment.
