Job summary

Royal Roads University is seeking a Director of Lifelong Learning to strategically lead a portfolio of continuing education, professional certificates, diplomas and micro-credentials. You will shape learning experiences that meet workforce needs and ensure academic rigor, financial sustainability, and market relevance across offerings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in relevant field; doctoral degree considered an asset.
• 8–10 years of progressively responsible leadership in continuing education or lifelong learning.
• Experience leading program portfolios, curriculum development, quality assurance in post-secondary settings.
• Strong financial acumen, forecasting and program sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Royal Roads University's portfolio of continuing education, professional certificates and diplomas, micro-credentials and other lifelong learning initiatives.
• Lead portfolio strategy, curriculum development, quality assurance and learner experience.
• Collaborate with academic units and with Operations/Business Systems to ensure delivery, enrolment and performance.
• Advise the Dean on lifelong learning strategy, portfolio development and program innovation.
