We are seeking a Director of Kaizen to lead and drive Lean transformation across our organization. This role involves fostering a Kaizen culture , coaching problem-solving methodologies , and embedding operational excellence at all levels.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead enterprise-wide Lean transformation, targeting waste elimination and productivity improvements
  • Align Lean initiatives with operational strategy and key performance metrics
  • Support strategy deployment, facilitate planning, and execute action plans
  • Manage the Shingijutsu Kaizen program, ensuring compliance and full completion of Kaizen events
  • Oversee the employee suggestion process
  • Implement autonomous workflows in office and field environments
  • Train leaders on Lean tools like takt time, andon escalation, and daily management
  • Digitize processes leveraging IT systems for efficiency
  • Train and certify employees in Lean methodologies
  • Conduct Gemba walks and audits to ensure standard work adherence
  • Foster a culture of employee engagement in Lean activities
  • Implement digital tools to improve visibility and automation
  • Utilize analytics platforms like Power BI to track improvements
  • Benchmark industry practices through conferences and sharing insights

What You Bring

  • Engineering degree (Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, or Material Science preferred)
  • 10+ years in construction or manufacturing, preferably as an Industrial Engineer or in continuous improvement
  • Experience leading Lean implementation at large or multiple sites and in office processes
  • Ability to align Lean with business objectives and drive measurable results
  • Experience in autonomous workflows in office and field environments
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills for senior leaders and teams
  • Skilled in process digitization, automation, and IT systems for improvement
  • Change management skills to drive culture shifts
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Shingijutsu Kaizen methodologies
  • Proficiency in digital tools like Power BI and automation software
  • Construction, real estate, or manufacturing experience highly preferred
