As the technical leader for KORE’s North American pre-sales efforts, you’ll be accountable for delivering technical excellence, accelerating sales cycles, and positioning KORE as the preferred partner for enterprise IoT connectivity, devices, and platform solutions. This is a pivotal role at the center of KORE’s go-to-market motion—connecting customer pain points to technical outcomes that drive revenue.

Core Accountabilities

Team Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and develop a team of IoT Solutions Architects supporting pre-sales activity across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Establish repeatable best practices and frameworks that elevate solution quality, consistency, and speed to proposal.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to align technical resources to priority deals and ensure high-impact customer engagement.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a high-performance culture with a focus on technical credibility and deal acceleration.

Solution Architecture & Customer Engagement

  • Serve as an executive-level technical resource for complex, multi-product IoT deals—ensuring KORE’s capabilities are well-positioned to win.
  • Oversee solution design, presentations, demos, and technical validation across opportunities in healthcare, logistics, fleet, connected health, and more.
  • Ensure excellence in documentation—from requirements gathering through Statements of Work and proposal contributions.
  • Lead technical aspects of strategic account planning and help close technical gaps during complex evaluations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Network, and Engineering to provide field feedback, influence roadmap, and align on solution strategy.
  • Represent the pre-sales function in go-to-market initiatives, CPQ upgrades, proposal automation, and pricing alignment efforts.
  • Contribute to content development for RFPs, sales collateral, and strategic partner integrations.

What You Bring To Kore

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Business, or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years of technical solutioning experience in telecom, wireless, or IoT—including 3+ years managing pre-sales or solution teams.
  • Proven ability to lead customer-facing teams through complex sales processes and drive technical wins.
  • Strong understanding of cellular networks (2G–5G, LPWA), SIM lifecycle management (SGP.22 & SGP.32), IoT platforms, and device-cloud integration.
  • Familiarity with carrier models, MVNO operations, and connectivity monetization strategies is a significant plus.
  • Experience navigating large enterprise sales cycles with executive-level engagement.

And Just As Importantly, You Bring

  • Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills—able to distill complex technical value into compelling narratives that resonate with both engineers and executives.
  • A charismatic, customer-first presence that builds trust, creates excitement, and helps KORE stand out in competitive deal cycles. People want to listen to your ideas.
  • The ability to evangelize KORE’s portfolio—positioning our connectivity, platform, and device capabilities as uniquely differentiated and future-proof.
  • A passion for what's possible in IoT—you inspire customers to think beyond today’s use cases and envision the transformational impact of partnering with KORE.
  • High emotional intelligence and poise under pressure, especially when navigating ambiguity, technical objections, or C-level discussions.

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Customer-Centric Influence – You lead with empathy and credibility, shaping solutions that are grounded in customer pain points and aligned to strategic outcomes.
  • Compelling Communicator – Able to simplify complex technical concepts and present with clarity, confidence, and purpose to audiences ranging from engineers to C-suites.
