Job summary

Franco-Nevada Corporation seeks a Director of Investor Relations to lead communications with shareholders, institutional investors and analysts. The role reports to the CFO and collaborates with the CEO and senior management to convey strategy, financial performance, asset portfolio and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Communications) or Mining (Geology, Mining Engineering) or related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Finance, Capital Markets, Mining, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively under tight reporting deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Investor and Analyst Communications: Serve as a key point of contact for analysts, institutional investors and other shareholders; Communicate proactively with the analyst community; Respond to investor inquiries and coordinate follow-up with management; Prepare management briefing materials for investor and analyst meetings; Track investor feedback and market sentiment and provide regular updates to management.
• IR Communication and Materials: Coordinate quarterly and annual communications; Prepare earnings presentations, news releases, scripts, Q&A materials and webcast content; Prepare monthly presentations and marketing materials; Lead design and preparation of annual Asset Handbook; Work closely with Finance, Legal and Business Development teams to support regulatory and exchange requirements.
• Investor Marketing and Events: Coordinate participation in investor conferences, roadshows and site visits; Organize annual investor days, annual shareholder meetings and special investor events.
• Corporate Communications and Digital Presence: Oversee and maintain the corporate website; Manage publication of presentations, financial reports, news releases and event materials; Coordinate with external vendors, webcast providers, graphic designers and communications partners.
• Market Intelligence and Shareholder Analysis: Monitor analyst research, peer company developments and industry trends; Analyze shareholder ownership and trading activity; Track valuation metrics and market performance relative to peers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director, Investor Relations, plays a key role in supporting Franco-Nevada’s communication with shareholders, institutional investors and research analysts. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the CEO and senior management, the successful candidate will help communicate Franco-Nevada’s strategy, financial performance, asset portfolio and growth initiatives to the investment community. This role combines capital markets knowledge, financial analysis, strategic communications and project management. The Director, Investor Relations will be responsible for executing Franco-Nevada’s investor relations program, coordinating earnings communications, supporting investor marketing activities and maintaining high-quality disclosure and shareholder engagement practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Investor and Analyst Communications
