Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB Canada is seeking a Director-level Originator to join its International Trade & Transaction Banking team in Toronto. Lead origination of trade and export finance mandates for Canadian corporates and international clients with Canadian operations.

You will structure and execute commercial plans, manage client relationships, and coordinate with CACIB’s global ITB hubs to deliver end-to-end financing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead origination of transactions across CACIB's corporate client base, covering investment-grade and select sub-investment-grade clients with Canadian operations.
• Develop and execute commercial plans and pitches to create C-suite engagement; analyze client strategies, trade flows, and working capital to offer ITB solutions.
• Prospect new clients with Coverage to grow the pipeline of mandates and NBI.
• Represent CACIB ITB at client meetings and industry forums to build the origination franchise in North America.
• Coordinate with CACIB ITB hubs globally to ensure multi-geography client coverage and cross-border mandates.
