Photonic Inc. is seeking a Director of Industry Marketing to translate quantum computing progress into market-ready narratives.

You will shape sector strategies, build compelling programs, and drive engagement with customers, partners, governments, and investors. You will collaborate across product, BD, communications, and technical teams to translate Photonics' Entanglement First™ architecture into market momentum.

As Director, Industry Marketing , you will help the market understand where those possibilities are becoming relevant, and why Photonic matters. You will connect our technology to real applications, shape the stories that move people, and create programs that bring customers, partners, governments, and investors into the conversation. You will turn ambitious ideas into integrated programs that educate, spark conversation, and build momentum for Photonic. You are as comfortable in conversation with scientists and technical leaders as you are presenting to a customer or executive audience. You ask incisive questions, find the insight that matters, and turn complexity into work that is grounded, distinctive, and worth paying attention to. Working across product, business development, communications, and technical teams, you will turn Photonics' roadmap, partnerships, and technical progress into market insight and momentum. You will show how Photonics' Entanglement First™ and distributed-by-design architecture enables quantum computers to scale and translate that differentiation into campaigns that inspire and engage priority audiences and drive platform preference for Photonic.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO

• Industry strategy & market development: Decide where Photonic has the strongest story to tell, then build the sector strategies, value propositions, and messaging that move those markets from interest to engagement.
• Thought leadership: Create original, evidence-led points of view that make complex ideas useful to the market. Bring them to life through industry reports, executive briefs, presentations, articles, webinars, and other formats people will choose to read, watch, and share.
• Industry positioning & messaging: Build differentiated narratives that connect Photonic’s technology, architecture, and roadmap to the challenges and opportunities that matter in each market.
• Enterprise engagement programs: Partner with business development to create conversations that matter, from executive roundtables and advisory boards to application and value discovery workshops, webinars, and customer forums. Listen closely, surface the questions the market is really asking, and turn those insights into stronger programs and content.
• Ecosystem storytelling: Show how customers, partners, researchers, governments, and industry organizations contribute to progress and why Photonic’s role in that ecosystem matters.
• Executive communications: Work directly with Photonic’s leaders to shape presentations and external communications that are clear, credible, memorable, and ready for the audiences that matter most.
• Investor relations: Help build the narratives, educational materials, presentations, and engagement programs that deepen investor and equity analyst understanding of Photonic and the quantum market.

WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM

• 10+ years of experience bringing innovative technologies to market, ideally within quantum computing, AI, HPC, or other advanced technology sectors.
• A record of developing differentiated positioning, messaging, and thought leadership that helps advanced technologies and emerging markets earn attention, understanding, and engagement.
• Experience creating executive and investor communications, including presentations, reports, briefs, white papers, and articles.
• Experience designing and executing multi-channel thought leadership campaigns across earned, owned, social, analyst, influencer, and partner channels—and using each one with purpose to expand reach and impact.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the judgment to make complex technical concepts clear without stripping away what makes them important. You can earn the confidence of technical experts and create narratives that customers, partners, analysts, investors, and industry stakeholders find credible and useful.
• You are a builder, not a spectator. You bring original ideas, turn them into high-quality work, and keep momentum without waiting for perfect conditions. You are equally comfortable setting the strategy, writing the first draft, testing a new format, and improving the work based on what the market tells you.
• You use AI as a tool to accelerate research, exploration, and idea development while keeping human judgment, originality, accuracy, and quality control at the center of your work.
• MBA or equivalent experience.
