Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Human Resources Operations based in Edmonton, AB. Reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer, the successful candidate will lead HR systems, programs, policies, and processes to support our vision of being an employer of choice, providing a supportive and inspiring workplace.

Responsibilities
  • Lead HR systems, data management, analytics, total rewards, policies, compliance, and processes.
  • Manage and optimize HRIS systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee HR data integrity and reporting.
  • Develop and enhance compensation and benefits structures.
  • Conduct market research to keep Total Rewards offerings competitive.
  • Partner with payroll and benefits teams to ensure support and compliance.
  • Ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Update and manage employee contracts and policies.
  • Provide leadership and best practices for the People & Culture team.
  • Oversee onboarding, exit interviews, and employee turnover analysis.
  • Support team mentorship and other HR initiatives.
Job Requirements
  • 15+ years of HR experience, with a focus on operations, systems, and total rewards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional organizations across Canada.
  • Certifications such as CPC or CBP are assets.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer service-oriented approach to HR.
