The Faculty of Health is the second largest and one of the most complex Faculties at Dalhousie University, comprising nine Schools/Colleges, two Programs, the Healthy Populations Institute, Resilience Research Centre, Centre for Transformative Nursing and Health Research, and in partnership with the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry, the Centre for Collaborative Clinical Learning and Research.
Reporting to the Dean, the Director, Human Resources is responsible for the overall human resource management of both unionized and non-unionized employees, long-term workforce planning and development, and fostering an environment of respect and inclusion. The Director also participates in strategic initiatives aligned with the Faculty of Health’s priorities of being the best place to work.
