Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Assign projects and programs to improve public health services
  • Coordinate activities with environmental and public health colleagues and other professionals
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Plan and control budgets and expenditures
  • Organize daily operations
  • Review projects and data related to public health policy for strengths and improvement opportunities
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Hire, train, motivate, and supervise staff
  • Oversee data analysis and report preparation
  • Advise senior management
  • Manage contracts
  • Develop and implement communication strategies
  • Monitor patient progress, evaluate nursing interventions, and collaborate with healthcare team members

Supervision

  • Manage 5-10 staff members across various responsibilities
