Position Summary

In accordance with the vision, mission, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, the Director, HIM leads a team responsible for delivering Health Information Management (HIM) to the organization, including functions such as registration, release of information, records management and processing, health informatics, and information management (HIIM) services, as well as business process redesign. The Director leads changes as needed to ensure HIM functions support integrated care and high-quality service delivery. Key responsibilities also include leading complex projects, quality improvement initiatives, managing stakeholder relationships, and overseeing contractual arrangements related to HIM services. This role is a health informatics leader, advancing healthcare transformation through people, processes, and technology to improve healthcare services.

Starting salary will be approximately from $116,591 to $145,739, based on education, training, experience, and comparable positions.

Qualifications
