Overview

At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause of turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.

Reporting to the Managing Head of Campaigns, the Head of Planning and Operations will be a key contact across all stakeholders in KPMG's Global Resource Centre in Canada, the US, and the UK, as well as across KPMG's global network of member firms. The role involves leading the Operations and Delivery team, which integrates planning, budgeting, measurement, and program delivery across the three pillars of Campaigns. The aim is to ensure a consistent approach that aligns resources effectively, supporting central program delivery across Marketing and Corporate Affairs’ flagship programs.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure projects are developed on time, within budget, with quality and resource considerations. Manage vendor selection and maintain an updated vendor database. Oversee rigorous project management based on established processes. Lead offshore resources to ensure flawless operations across geographies.
  • Develop tools and processes to support marketing planning, translating the CMO's strategic vision into actionable steps and measurable KPIs, aligned with the firmwide Collective Strategy.
  • Collaborate with Finance to produce regular reports for marketing leadership and the CMO.
  • Optimize marketing processes for efficiency and effectiveness in partnership with the marketing leadership team.
  • Coordinate meetings, including design, facilitation, and follow-up of virtual and in-person meetings.
  • Engage with the Big 8 Member firms on planning, KPIs, and sharing best practices.
  • Provide strong leadership to set a clear vision, foster a positive team culture, and motivate high performers.

What You Bring To The Role

  • 10+ years of marketing and communications experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Technical project management skills, including developing project plans and executing initiatives.
  • Ability to quickly understand Global Marketing's strategic priorities and professional services.
  • Experience in marketing operations, demand generation, and marketing technology.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and ability to articulate major tasks and deliverables.
