Job summary

Silk & Snow is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain operations, spanning demand planning, inventory management, inbound, international logistics, fulfillment, and reverse logistics. You will report to the COO and guide a team including managers for inbound operations and fulfillment.

The role requires deep experience in Canada/US supply chains, executive negotiation, and P&L ownership.

Qualifications

Bachelor or higher in a related field (supply chain, business, engineering).
10+ years in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
5+ years leading other managers in omnichannel retail or ecommerce.
Experience across Canada and the US, including cross-border distribution.
Experience negotiating at executive level with carriers, 3PLs, and retailers.
Strong financial fluency; accountable for landed costs, margins, and working capital.
Familiarity with ecommerce tech stack (Shopify, Fulfil.io) and ERP/TMS platforms.

Responsibilities

Own demand planning, inventory management, and reporting.
Define Canada/US distribution network strategy and hubs/ DCs.
Set inbound/outbound transportation strategy and decision frameworks.
Negotiate and manage contracts with ocean carriers, 3PLs, brokers, and couriers.
Oversee warehouse footprint, models, and cost structures across facilities.
Lead multi-year supply chain roadmap with technology and processes.
