Job Description

As a Director, you will lead a team of professionals addressing complex business challenges from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Leading a team by monitoring service delivery, guiding team meetings, supporting Vialto strategy, and achieving goals.
  2. Collaborating with Partners to develop service offerings and implement client strategies.
  3. Engaging in business development activities like seminars and roundtables.
  4. Leading discussions on digital automation solutions.
  5. Delegating consulting and compliance tasks to optimize utilization and support staff development.
  6. Identifying market opportunities and revenue growth areas.
  7. Analyzing complex proposals and developing meaningful recommendations.
  8. Utilizing diverse information sources to develop solutions.
  9. Resolving issues proactively.
  10. Signing Canadian and/or US personal income tax returns and related documents.
  11. Consulting with clients to enhance their global mobility programs.
  12. Developing insights on global trends affecting the business and clients.
  13. Training and mentoring your team for ownership and growth.
Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of experience in expatriate taxation, with expertise in Canadian and US personal income tax.
  • Strong client service skills and experience in client-facing roles.
  • US CPA or Enrolled Agent designation, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Knowledge of payroll and equity compensation.
  • Proven business development skills and enthusiasm for growth.
  • Interest in digital and technological advancements.
