Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of DP World Canada, the Director of Financial Planning &Analysis (Director) leads the Corporate FP&Afunctions in establishing DP World Canada’s long-term financial trajectory and shorter-term financial forecasts. The incumbent brings thought leadership and business partnering to senior leaders in the Regional Office and across DP World Canada. Providing leadership to a dedicated team, the Director drives value with a particular focus on leading the DP World Canada’s annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes, as well as supporting a wide range of management reporting, strategic analysis and decision-making for the group. The Director provides leadership and mentorship within the FP&A function and possesses the business maturity to set ambitious goals for various business outcomes as well as the intellectual horsepower to derive deep, data-driven insights that will help DP World realize those goals. The Director is responsible for leading the efforts to scale the corporate FP&A processes and develop members of the FP&A team as the Company grows and faces increasing business complexity.

The ideal candidate is a progressive, driven and well-rounded senior financial leader who is accustomed to an entrepreneurial, global organization with Canadian-wide operations. As a strategic member of the senior finance team, the ideal candidate will have a consultative and flexible leadership style, with a strong customer service orientation. The incumbent will pursue the standardization and professionalization of business planning, budgeting, forecasting, decision support, modelling, and management reporting and will establish proper benchmarking internally and externally. The Director will be dedicated to all elements of Finance which are future oriented.
