What we’re looking for :

Leo Berwick is seeking a Director to join our growing Energy, Infrastructure and Renewables Financial Due Diligence team. We help clients maximize value and make confident decisions through data-driven insights. Our team supports both buy-side and sell-side transactions, giving corporate and financial buyers peace of mind by analyzing and validating key financial, commercial, operational, and strategic assumptions.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members across all stages of the deal process.
  • Manage financial due diligence engagements for acquisitions and divestitures.
  • Deliver high-quality client outputs, including diligence reports and presentations, and communicate key deal implications.
  • Oversee full project lifecycle, ensuring timely and exceptional client deliverables.
  • Analyze business plans, public information, and historical financials of target companies.
  • Identify and report key risks and issues to clients.
  • Align due diligence findings with client valuations and help manage stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA or similar designation preferred).
  • Background in a large professional services firm.
  • Strong financial due diligence expertise, ideally in Energy, Infrastructure, or Renewables.
  • Proven leadership, project management, and team management skills.
  • Advanced technical, analytical, and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter, comfortable working remotely and independently.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA.
