A leading company is seeking a Director of Finance - IFRS Reporting for a 12-14 month contract. The role involves preparing financial statements, leading ESG reporting, and mentoring junior staff. Ideal candidates will have a CPA and extensive IFRS experience.
Our client is sourcing a Director Finance - IFRS Reporting for a 12 - 14 month contract.
About the Opportunity
Participate in the month end close process and support all ad-hoc needs as they arise
Lead the ESG & Sustainability reporting requirements and advise junior level staff
Lead a team of three direct reports and provide technical insight and mentorship
Conduct a detailed review for accuracy and completeness and approve internal management based financial reporting, both routine and ad hoc for complete and consistent results with corporate policies and standards
Act as main liaison with external auditors.
Conduct IFRS research to apply policies on technical investment accounting requirements.
Prepare and review statutory financial statements under IFRS
Review and prepare monthly journal entries for corporate entities
About You
CPA Designation
5+ years of Corporate Accounting + IFRS reporting experience
